Roman started eating small mushy bananas and clementines with the skin peeled off at 9 months.

My DD is 9 1/2 mths and I give her small pieces of banana, melon, apple, grapes, blueberries etc...she only has 2 teeth but as the doctor reminded me she would only chew with her back teeth anyway and that her gums will help her break the food down...I usually microwave the apples for a few seconds to soften them up a little.
