No, not necessarily - it's all about moderation. A sweet potato every night isn't so good, but once or twice a week, as a side with dinner, isn't so bad. It's better than a regular potato because it has more fiber...

Sweet potatoes are VERY good for you. Just don't eat them too much and if you have some, have ONE without butter. I like to put a little cinamon on mine.
