Is anyone Nassau PD? or know what's going on in Farmingdale since this morning?
There are about 10 NCPD marked cars, 5 unmarked, and 5 more with the seal on the doors, in addition to an ambulance and a couple vans at the construction site across the street from us. (Where they're building the new Stop & Shop)
They've been there since around 9:45 this morning! No info on news12 or newsday. Someone here called news12 and was told that a body was found, but no further information.
We're on Motor Ave, right off Main St.
I know from experience that there would NOT be 20 cars for 4 hours if someone just laid down on the railroad tracks - there has to be more to it.
We don't think it's related to the mob bodies - there's no FBI around.
It's a little frightening!

That's crazy!! Is it holding up traffic? Are they saying anything on 97.5? Sometimes Walk is usually up to date with stuff like that.
Now I'm curious!

my coworker thinks someone was hit by a train.
we heard a loud bang around 9.
we are on conklin by the 109 intersection.
where are they building the stop and shop?

We lost power real quick this morning right around the time of the huge bang. We thought a transformer blew...
