Is anyone not getting a bedding set?

I can't believe how much they are. I really like the dream teddy bedding I found on the BRU site but my goodness $190 and I can't even use the window valance that comes with it.

I wish I can just purchase the pieces seperately or something. I'm going to put it on the registry but I almost feel bad. I heard you really shouldn't even use the comforter for your baby (too heavey etc)

Is it just me thinking this?

You can purchase pieces separately. I opted not to get a set, and I actually am making the crib set, but in the meantime I do have separate pieces dressing my crib. The sheets & bumper are from Koala Kids, and the blanket is Carters. I got them all at BRU.

The bumpers were $19.99, the sheets were $11, and the luxe blanket was $24.99

ETA: I got my curtains at Ikea for $14.99.

No, I almost didn't register for it b/c I thought it was a waste...but low and behold, I picked one b/c I just wanted one. I doubt I'll even use the comforter. You can totally register for the items seperately!

with both my DS and DD I could not see someone spending that kind of money on a children's bedding set. I actually fell in love with 2 target sets. My daughter's set is butterflies and my son's set is sports. I got all the pieces I wanted for less than $100. The quality is great too. All of the pieces have been washed several times and they are still perfect.

We fell in love with a set that I think had 10 pieces for $99 from BRU so you can do separates of course but there are some out there for reasonable prices too.
