Is anyone selling their bridal fur or fur-trimmed cape?

My neice is looking to buy a long, white fur-trimmed cape for her wedding in March. I'm kind of hoping somebody may be looking to sell theirs. If so, please FM me. TIA!!!!!

I just edited that it's mainly a satin cape, with fur trimming.

I don't have a long cape only a shawl.
Pictures are in my album if you're interested.

I appreciate it. Yours is so pretty.

But she decided to have a hooded cape, instead of a veil. Her theme is winter. She wants to wear the hooded cape down the aisle, then have it taken off as she gets to the altar. She found one online, but it's a bit steep for her to wear for so little time.

Did she check David's Bridal? I know my girlfriend loaned me hers and that's where she got it. I can't remember if it had a hood but I have an e-mail in to her to see if it does and if she wants to get rid of it.

I'm pretty sure she did. She lives in Florida and fur things aren't necessarily in demand items down there.

Thanks for asking your friend! Even if it doesn't have a hood, my sister and I are pretty good at sewing, so we may able to fashion something.

Re: Is anyone selling their bridal fur cape?

I'm pretty sure she can rent them from bridal stores. Has she checked that route?

When in march is she getting married. I only mention this, bc I got married on 3/24/07, the weekend before we had a blizzard, but the day of my wedding it was 60 degrees outside. It would have been too warm for a fur cape, imo.

I just wouldn't want to see her be too hot in fur.

Just read she was in FL...hmmmm, maybe you could check out botiques here this winter? That's when they'll be offering them.

It's going to be WAY too hot for her. She lives in Florida. But this is what she wants to walk down the aisle. My sister has raised two great kids by herself and I will do anything I can to make sure they can afford whatever they want for their special day.

I edited before...perhaps check out bridal salons starting November here, they will probably start offering them then. That's probably your best bet, even if it has to be rented here. Chat Icon
