I'm up and I have two cats. Don't know if I can help, but I can try.

Re: Is anyone still up? Anyone with pets, hopefully?
Thanks Juliet!
I have to use a humidifier with Vicks (alcamphor) because I have bronchitis. My puppy is still in his crate and sleeps with us in the room (he needs the "pack" still). Is it safe for him to breathe in the Vicks?

I am looking online to see if I see anything that might clue me in. I would think it would be okay since you are not putting it on him directly.
Maybe put a towel over his crate so he doesn't breathe it in.

Re: Is anyone still up? Anyone with pets, hopefully?
Thank you!!
I have been searching too and nothing - it does seem that Vicks under their chin helps with allergies, so that's a good sign maybe. I like the towel idea. I'll do that, thanks!!
Good night!!

Re: Is anyone still up? Anyone with pets, hopefully?
Just found this online and since they are suggesting it as a pet gift, I am guessing it should be safe.

Edited because I don't think it is supposed to be a gift, but just something that I guess local shelters use for the animals.
Vicks does seem to be recommended for pets the same way as it is for humans, so that should be good.
The only thing i would think it might do would be prevent him from smelling other things for a little while.

Re: Is anyone still up? Anyone with pets, hopefully?
Just wanted to thank you Juliet. I slept fine, the humidifier helped DH with his nose bleeds (none today) and Brooklyn is a-OK.
