Is/Did anyone party for St. Patricks Day?

I used to LOVE to go to the Irish pubs around the state...but I am too old for it now--(30!) I cannot keep up with the crowd anymore!

Plus--I do not even like beer, but would indulge on St. Pattys Day!Chat Icon Chat Icon

I think since DH is working tomorrow night, I will cook myself a frozen pizza & call it a night!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon (only green icons on here!)

Same here!

we went to the fire dept. party on saturday night (just stopped in for a drink- it was kinda lame) then to a St. Baldrick's event at Fatty McGee's in East islip.

DH is marching in the parade today with the Suffolk County Emerald Society. I'm stuck here at work. Chat Icon

We did! We went out on sat night from 7pm til 2am, which is nothing compared to what we used to do in college. Chat Icon

We're going out tonight to a couple bars too... a band is doing a tribute to U2 that we're going to see also. Chat Icon

Re: Is/Did anyone party for St. Patricks Day?

We don't really celebrate the holiday, it's just a regular day to us. I'm not Irish but my last name is. We both like corned beef but I wouldn't make it for just the 2 of us.
