Is Dylan too small for this style photo....

We are going to use our wedding photographer for Dylan's 1 year old photos. He has this photo that he does with a sleigh and one he does with a candy cane. I am thinking of doing this style for the holidays but I want Dylan to be in the picture alone and he is a tiny 1 year old. We think he weighs 18-19lbs now. Is he too small for these props? ETA snowman is optional.

Considering this sweater for sleigh photo. Is it a good choice?

I don't think so. I think he'll look extra cute with some big props around him. Chat Icon Chat Icon

He sits. He stands. He sometimes lets go when he stands. There is a small chance he will be walking before the appointment. I am considering this sweater. We're Jewish, so I'm not going for anything that is very Christmas-y. I think it goes fine with the sleigh but not with the candy canes. What do you all think.

The only issue I can see is getting him to sit still for the photo....

I agree. DD used props when she was 8 months and I think it looked adorable!

Hey Kerie, I like the sled minus the snowman. However, like Heather said good luck w/ getting him to sit still. Gracie's 1 year pics were torture!

I've been lucky with pictures so far. When I took him at 5 months, I really wanted smiley pictures but he was very serious that day. We got one incredible smiley pic and one good serious one. That is the worst we have done with pictures so far. I hope my luck does not change. Did you post her 1 yr pics? ETA: I see them in your album. What are you talking about? They are GREAT.

Kerie, DD sat still at 5 months for me too, but this month (ie: October) at 10 months, it took me 1/2 hour and 20+ shots to get this picture:

She sat for me!!!!Chat Icon Which actually I was very surprised of and it might have had to do with the fact that I had a ton of help...AKA as three 9 year old little girls who think Marianna is just about the cutest thing...and who Marianna adores.
