I called and left a message- no one has gotten back to me.

There was a post on this yesterday - No I don't think so - but no first hand knowledge. A friend told me yesterday she got an email from them - something about sprinkler system - and she said we would probably not have class on tuesday. - But I didn't hear anything from them and my class is supposed to start on tuesday.

I just got off the phone with them - they said they passed one of the two inspections and they "are shooting to open for monday."

All mommy and me type classes or this one in particular. Just curious because I never heard anyone question the safety of gymboree.

I have been waiting for this location to open since Feb. and I am so annoyed it hasn't. Didn't stop them from taking my money though. I called them yesterday and they said they were still waiting on an inspection and they didn't want to give an expected date of open incase they had to cancel again. Very frustrating.

I think she is referring to the measles scare but not 100% sure.

Why would a facility that's not even open to the public yet be a measles risk? Is it because a child attending a class might have been infected by that other infant?
(I'm seriously asking a question here... I didn't want my tone to come off as snarky!)

Ive been waiting for the location to open to before i signed up. The hicksville location told me if i sign up now then i have to use my days and wasnt allowed to wait until the source location opened. Do you go to another location or are they letting you wait?

 I asked the lady if i could sign up for that location and not attend the classes until it opened.. and she said no.
I wanted to sign up then b/c they were doing that offer two classes for one price. Plus i wanted to sign up for the 6m classes and my dd wasnt 6m at that time, so i wanted to wait until she sat up unassisted then attend. Im so mad.. stupid lady i spoke with.

The measles scare was the Gymboree outlet store in the mall, not the new Gymboree Classes location.
I drove by today - not opened yet and it didn't look like it was about to be opened either, although they did take the paper off the windows....

Im getting annoyed too. Why did they close the B-way mall one so early then?
We have missed 2 classes now and since the spring semester starts this week, I hope they plan to add two more classes on or something ?
