Is it bad...
that we are 11 weeks away from the baby arriving and we don't have her furniture yet?
We know what we want, but we haven't ordered it yet, nor have we painted/decorated her room.

Re: Is it bad...
I think you have plenty of time as long as its not going to take longer than that for the furniture to come in.

Re: Is it bad...
I am 35 weeks and my furniture is coming on Friday. I ordered a little more than a week ago, but I knew before I ordered that it would take only 2 weeks to get to me

Re: Is it bad...
If you have a bassinet, PNP, cosleeper - don't worry at all - they don't need a nursery.
We probably won't have the room ready until after the birth.

Re: Is it bad...
Well our baby will be in with us for the first 9 months of his life so I havent bought anything yet...BUT I know that should he of had a room I wouldnt of done really anything until he was born any way...the baby would of been in with us for the first 4 months or so any way..which leaves plenty of time for nursery decorating.

Re: Is it bad...
I am in the same boat as you don't worry. I am due in 8 weeks, the furniture that we choice takes a minimum of 16 weeks and top off all that we are moving right after the baby is born into our new house so we can't even start the nursey until we close which is a week before my due date . We are going this weekend to the house to look at the rooms again and choose who gets which room.
With DS it was completely different. The furniture was in 7 weeks before my due date but I didnt have it delievered until 10 days before my EDD and he arrived 3 days after it was delivered but I did finish setting up his room.

Re: Is it bad...
If you know what you want I would def order it ASAP.
You could go early or it could take weeks and weeks for it to come in.
