Is it bad to give DS a whole pickle?
He loves them and asks for them as soon as he wakes up.
he'll gobble a full half-sour in minutes.
I imagine they are pretty high in sodium, right?

Actually, my grandmother had Chrohn's disease and had to eat very chopped up food for a long time and she used to put pickle juice on EVERYTHING

acutally, not too bad according to a dietician at the hospital when my dd was diagnosed with diabetes.....she said there's so much thats worse...(assuming its the deli pickles, not the ones that are sweet!)

I count them as a veggie. And DS loves them. They were one of his first table foods! I cut it in 1/2 lengthwise, like you get in the diner, and he chows down. Keeps him occupied for a while too
