is it bad to have too many transvaginal sonograms?
so i went to see a RE to find out why I'm not PG yet....after a MC at 5 months and 4 months of trying..and why my period went from 31-35-42 days!...well she did a transvag u/s and saw that i didnt ovulate yet and that was also confirmed by a blood test....but now she wants see me again next week for another u/s.....what do you think?....TIA!

I went for two transvag sonos in two weeks... the tech and doctor saw nothing wrong with it... they are probably going to see if there is a thickening in your uterine lining...

No it's not bad. I was with my RE for 9 months before getting pregnant. During a normal IVF cycle, there were days I was having an internal sono every single day. Once I got pregnant, I had a sono once per week. Even when I did Clomid/IUI cycles, I had many sonos during the course of my cycle.

okay, now you really sound like my husband! He once asked me why I complained all the time about having to have these sonos at 6:00 am... he said "It should be just like sex right? So you should enjoy it"

Just an RE. When finally got pregnant, I stayed with the RE until I was 8 weeks pregnant. Now I see a regular OB, I am not high risk.

Just an RE. When finally got pregnant, I stayed with the RE until I was 8 weeks pregnant. Now I see a regular OB, I am not high risk.

no, it's not bad...unless you get the dr. or the sono tech who thinks you are an oven stuff roaster that needs to be basted and just shoves the wand in! BTDT.
