Same price. But it depends on the TA or your planning ability. Except for one place that does TA specials (bulk or conf rates not sure) every gets the same deals. When you book by yourself the minute a deal comes out you can jump on it. With a TA they might or might not get your package adjusted. A TA might have multiple people to callin and switch so you could lose out.
Now having said that if you want someone to take the works out of it. It is important to pick thr RIGHT TA. You want one who is first off a disney specialist. Most aren't. Second try to go with one you have had friends use and have been happy with. I hear or see posts from time to time that people email or call to make sure they got th ed deal or booked the adr but ig takes several emails or several days later to hear back. That could mean you lose the deal or adr in that time. A good TA will be on top of that. TAs are free to use and cost you nothing but keep in mind that some are better more proactive than others. One other thing once you have a TA you lose the ability to contact disney directly. I tried years ago to book with aaa bc I wanted their deal bc the week we were going hadn't had a lot of deals. Their TA was horrible but I figured I knew and could deal with it. I couldn't even contact ME bc they said I had to go through my TA who insisted my DD didn't need a ticket bc she was under 2 so she wouldn't contact them. We ended up renting a car. Bug I would have had to stand in a long line to get her a pass bc she would have needed it.

We worked with AAA and the Mouse tales travel agent. We tried Mouse tale twice because the first person was incompetent! We did our own research via the Disney website and we got a better package for 1000+ dollars cheaper then them, with many add ons. The only thing we have to do is the restaurant reservations ourselves and we don't get a luggage tag !
