Is it cold in NY?
No one told me to expect 30+ degree weather when I moved to GA!
A little insane walking the puppy this morning (who needs a sweater, BTW)...is it as cold or colder up there?
My first fall here...I was shocked! 
Who expects this in the south?

It's that cold in GEORGIA? Good LORD! We can't escape the cold weather no matter where we go huh?
Yeah, it's chilly here today- supposed to be in the high 50s I think.
Don't go by me though- anything less than 85 and I'm cold!

Dude, I can't believe it's that much colder down here...and it'll be that way all week!!
AlilT - yes, New Year's 2001 it snowed 3"...and I was stuck here...the closed the airport!

yes...it gets that cold in GA....north GA anyway. I'veo nly worn my winter coat 3 tims (my 1st winter here). Last year I got away with sweaters and a lightweight jacket that fit over my Pg belly.
Jan and Feb are the coldest though. Waking up in the AM and at night are the worst...during the day it's not bad.
Even with the cold...the sunshine brightens anyones' day!

welcome to GA. The burner is when it's March and 60-70 again and I call NY and tell them I'm wearing sandals already....
I get a big F U from them.

I guess you guys haven't been here when it actually snowed or when we get the crazy ice storms... january and Feb. is usually the 30's down to the 20's even Like shana said though when March rolls around it's spring here

I was there when it "snowed" last...I wasn't happy about being stuck there. For 3"!
But my DH misses the snow...he'll be happy to hear that the weather isn't nearly as "warm" as I thought...
And to think, it's always summer one state away in FL!
