When it sarts getting towards the end and your appts are closer can the doctors say you know what I think you'll deliver a week or two earlier than expected.
Is that common and still considedred full term?

I don't know if it's common. Typically they only change you by a few days, unless you're having complications.

I am 34 weeks..and b/c my cervix is short, Im cramping, and b/c of my history my doctors expect me to deliver sooner rather than later...with that said...my doctors wont change my actual date of delivery. When my DS is born he will be considered Xweeks gestation by the hospital staff and watched accordingly.

Full term is considered 37 weeks. Legally, a dr cannot induce you before 39 weeks though.
I am 36 weeks and my dr will induce me at 39 wks if i dont go into labor on my own, but this is only bc i have been 90% effaced and 4 cm dilated for the past 4 weeks.
