Is it ever 'too late" to get a prenatal massage?
I am almost 35 weeks and in desperate need of a massage...is it too late in the pregnancy for one? Please say no...

I don't think so... but it may depend on the place.
I just found this blurb on the web site of a local place I wanted to try..

At Hoboken Prenatal Massage, we adapt traditional Swedish and Orthopedic techniques to the concerns of pregnancy. With our special knowledge and training we can work with women at any stage of pregnancy, even if your in your first trimester or past due.

Randella, I was going to try checking out some of the prenatal massage places in Hoboken too. Which one have you narrowed it down to?

well, I am like a prenatal massage expert and have had bad back pain since 10 weeks-- I have had way too many massages already!! But, I was traveling a bit and I got one every time I was away on 3 different "vacations".
I have also had two at Spa H-- I have gotten massages there before, and for my birthday I got a gift cert for 2 massages there. I found out I was prego a week before my bday and figured I could use the GC for a prenatal. The massage there was good-- but they don't have the pillow where you can lay on your stomach-- so you lay on your side. I had two different people-- I liked Denise the best, at least I think that was her name.
I also had an old gift cert to Koi Spa in Edgewater-- I am getting one there next week. I'll let you know how it is. The cool thing about them is that they offer a 20 min and a 50 min... so, if you don't want to spend the money for the full one-- you can get a 20 to get some relief.
I will probably get one more since my back ALWAYS kills me... and this place looks to be the most clinical. I don't know anything about it though, but looks like an interesting place. I also got a card from them when I signed up for prenatal yoga at Devotion Yoga http://hobokenprenatal.com/

There is no limit in when too stop.
But you cannot have a massage if you are starting labor or have contractions, not feeling well, morning sickness, etc..

I got one the week before DD was born hoping it would get things going so I would say no.
