Is it me???
Or is it that since you began TTC, every woman you see is either pregnant or carrying a baby. I don't know if its because I am more observant of people with children now because we are TTC. It just seems to be everywhere I look.
Then I look at myself and ask when will it be my turn to walk around with a big tummy? The more I see other woman pregnant, the more I want to be pregnant. I am trying to be patient and wait my turn though....its hard sometimes
Just sharing my thoughts...
Anyone feel like this?

Re: Is it me???
I feel the same way. I also work in a very religious neighborhood where the typical family has many children so babies are everywhere. It is the land of double carriages even though there are few sets of twins, the women have them back to back!
I dont know if anyone feels THIS way, but do you ever feel like it was easy for everyone else, but it will be hard for you to conceive? Maybe this isnt a nice thought, but I sometimes get upset when I see teenage unwed mothers walking around with babies as badges of honor knowing that so many women in secure homes with stable incomes and supportive families want so desperately to have a child. They either have to wait, have fertility issues or can't have kids. I dunno, maybe I am selfish.

Re: Is it me???
Yeah my DH and I were in the mall the other day. We weren't even in there for 5 minutes and we saw 4 pregnant women. It seems like everyone around me has either gotten pregnant on their first try and they didn't plan on it, and "it just happened." Why after trying 9 months isn;t it "just happening" with us? It makes you wonder sometimes what makes them worthy of being a mom but not me. I know its silly, but that is how I feel.

Re: Is it me???
I can totally relate. Since we've been ttc, and especially in the last few months, it seems like every woman I see either is pregnant or has a newborn with them. It makes me a little sad that my time hasn't come yet but I keep trying to stay positive.

awww... i know... i felt the same way before we got pg. actually DH has some medical issues and taking lots of medications, so we were preparing for a long, tough journey. we even started talking about adopting (yes---jumping the gun a little...) but we stayed positive and still can't believe it!
good luck to all you girls!

Re: Is it me???
Yeah, I get very frustrated. I have a close friend who has a gorgeous child. Although she loves him, she always wishes she could go back in time, and change the outcome, and not have gotten pregnant.
I am dumbfounded by that, because we want to have a baby so badly. My DH willbe an awsome father, he wants this more than anything, and I am starting to feel not so good about myself, that I can't give him this easily....I guess we shall see
I wish lots of baby dust to us all!!!

Re: Is it me???
If it is any consolation, I just realized that the reason why we may be seeing more pregnant women is because late summer and early fall months usually have the most births. People are getting busy when its cold! Summer is here so I think it is something we need to get used to for now. I laugh, because my brother was born in the first week of October which may very well have made him a New Year's Eve baby. EW I just thought the unthinkable - my parents getting drunk and BDing!

Re: Is it me???
Yes. I find myself watching little kids more and thinking how cute they are. (I never really looked at them before.) I pretty much think most every kid is cute right now.

And yes.
If it doesn't happen this cycle (June) or next (July), I am going to be out for a few months. I am the MOH in my sister's June 2007 wedding and I don't want a PG to be too close to that. I really hoped for it to happen before the wedding and I am feeling like it won't happen. If it doesn't, I will have to stop until about November.
