Is it normal....

To be too tired to work out in the 1st Trimester?

I used to work out on a regular basis, but since becoming PG- I am so nauseous and tired all the time- I can't work out. Does it get better in the 2nd trimester? Is it normal to be this tired? I am 8 weeks.

Thanks. Chat Icon

It's normal to be so tired you can't peel your body off the couch! I know that much! So I wouldn't worry if you're too tired to workout now, your body is probably telling you it needs its rest. Don't worry, you'll wake up one day in your 2nd trimester with a whole new energy! It finally happened for me, and it's great to feel normal again!Chat Icon

I have been tired throughout the entire pregnancy--I am 31 weeks. I am just going to wait until after the baby is born and to get back into my routine.

Very normal...I get winded walking up a flight of steps and that never happened before. I couldn't imagine going to the gym right now.

I think so. I am feeling so lazy and exhausted myself lately - just getting out of bed is an effort nevermind working out. I keep telling myself when it gets warmer out I'll go for walks....we'll see how that goes!

It is very normal. It does get better in the 2nd trimester, at least for me it did.

How about too tired to do anything? Chat Icon I was beyond exhausted my 1st trimester and it got better around 17 or 18 weeks. But, now in my 3rd trimester I'm finding myself tired again although it's not as bad as it was in the beginning.
