4-5oz every 2 hrs???

thats what i thought....i give her a pacifier but shell scream and spit it out and try eating her hands or anything she can get her mouth on. Someone told me its a growth spurt so im not sure

you cannot overfeed an newborn....feed her if she is hungry

Some babies eat more than others.
Does she spit up alot after her feedings?
I believe at around 1 month old they are usually drinking 3-4 oz per feeding. But like that said, some babies eat more than others.
How many ounces a day is she eating? Is she sleeping alot?
My kids ate alot of ounces at each feeding, but they also slept alot, so I believe that they were just so hungry, that when they woke up, they were just eating to make up for that lost time lol

I agree with Stephanie. They don't eat when they are not hungry.
Our ped says to load 'em up during the day.
How does she sleep at night?
