Is it normal to spot a little?

Just went to the bathroom and when I wiped after going pee there was a little pink on the toliet paper. Is this normal. I am about 4-5 weeks right now......Today is the day I was expecting my period but I took 7 HPT's and they all are positive.

????

Signed,
Nervous.

I did spot with DD#1, it always made me nervous( But I have had multiple m/c's) But all was fine. My Dr. told me as long as it is not red blood and you are not cramping it is OK.

I spotted at 6w2d. I called my Dr., and the nurse eventually got in touch with me (Chat Icon ) and had me go in that night.

all turned out to be fine - but I got to hear the heart beat and it was incredible.

I would call the Dr. just to be sure.

I spotted, much more than you are spotting. I am sure it's nothing to worry about but I would call your OB just to be sure! good luck!

I spotted early on in my first trimester, from very light pink to brown. It was normal according to my dr. and I am now around 27 wks.

Its pretty common to spot a bit around the time you would normally expect AF in the beginning. You might want to give a call to the OB to alert them.

I spotted from 5 weeks - 9+ weeks. As long as it's not red, heavy or painful it's generally ok.

Re: Is it normal to spot a little?

I spotted at 9 weeks and my Dr told me that some women spot btwn 8 & 9 weeks. It was also Christmas Eve and I was in a different state and running after two crazy nephews. Either way it turned out fine and I have a beautiful 4 month old baby

Could be implantation bleeding, I honestly wouldn't worry being most women spot early in pregnancy but definitely mention it to your dr.

Re: Is it normal to spot a little?

I spotted in week 9 with my first around the time that my period was due. It can be normal but I would call the doctor in the morning or now if it's gotten worse. Spotting with bad cramping could be a bad sign. But usually just spotting is ok. But like I said I would call the doctor.

Re: Is it normal to spot a little?

Light spotting is typically normal - could be implantation spotting. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just mention it to the doc when you go, or if it continues give them a call.
