is it ok to get a mani & pedi
in your first tri? I think I remember reading somewhere that nailpolish wasn't good.

It's fine to paint your nails in the first trimester, however, I think they urge you to stay away from salons until your second trimester because of the fumes.

i went and got a mani and pedi yesterday
i go to a place that is really big and airy- they don't have fumes. (they dont do fake nails, etc)

In terms of a Pedicure, just be sure they don't do any reflexology.

The only thing I would worry about is the message. Have them stay away from your ankles.

yeah its fine as far as i know.
soon enough you wont be able to reach your toes anymore anyway so may as well start having someone else do them now

I got manis and pedis OFTEN while pregnant. I figured that it was the best time EVER to pamper myself!!
Also I have to say that getting a prenatal massage was one of the greatest things! I went at 26 weeks because it was right after my wedding and I needed to unwind after all of it but I'm thinking next time around I'll do it once in each trimester!!

I was told to stay away from them the entire PG because of the fumes in the nail salon and some places can carry bacteria even if we think they are very clean.
