Is it okay to wear white to a Baptism?
I know you're not supposed to wear white to a wedding so you don't compete with the bride. But what about Baptisms? I'm going to be the Godmother, so I'm sure there will be lots of pics with me holding the baby. I was going to wear a white dress, but then I was wondering if it's okay to wear white when the baby will be wearing white? Does it even matter, or am I over thinking it?

I think so.
I would probably check what the mom is wearing, I know both my cousins wore white to their children's but it may have been a coincidence.

You're over thinking it - The only place it's a no no to wear white is at a Wedding b/c the probability of the BRIDE wearing white is 99.9% - You don't have to worry about what the baby's mother is wearing at a baptism - that day isn't about HER, it's about her child -

I think it's perfectly ok, esp that you are the Godmother.
