Is it possible to get a UTI from too many internals/TV sonos?

Long story short, I have been having complications which brought me to L&D yesterday. This has been my 3rd internal in three weeks and now I feel burning when I pee....possibility they aggravated that?

first of all, hope that all is okay?!

i'm sure having hands and instruments in there can irritate... you may have some yeast or something. i recently did, without the "typical" yeast symptoms - just some burning like you described. i would definitely contact your doctor about it. he/she may want to see you, or maybe just treat you for yeast and see what happens. give them a call.

ETA: just noticed that your post asked specifically about UTI. sorry... preggo brain... yes, by doing all those exams some of your vaginal bacteria may have migrated to your urinary tract. wouldn't be unheard of.

My doc has actually instructed the techs not to do internals on me because they can be irratating so I do wonder exactly if UTI is included

Tell your doctor and he/she can give you a scrip for Amoxicillin. I have had 2 UTI's so far, but no symptoms at all. They were discovered via a urine test. Feel better!
