I've just been so blue lately; sad, depressed, down - definitely not feeling myself. I was wondering if it was hormonal or something else. I thought you were only supposed to have the blues in the winterChat Icon

Hey lady...

I know how you feel. I'm feeling the same way unfortunately. I think it's from the problems/issues that we're having since they're very similar to one another.

I try to keep a happy face on, but it doesn't work.

Here are some Chat Icon for you. Hopefully things will get better for both of us! Chat Icon

Thank you so much. I know ALOT of it is work. I feel like there is no appreciation for what we do and everyday is nothing but hassles and struggles. It is forever one step forward, five steps back. More and more is constantly expected of us and nothing we ever do is good enough. It's that way at BOTH jobs lately. It's easier said than done to find another job because I have this perpetual fear of moving on and having it not work out or lay offs or whatever. As crappy as it always seems, I feel like I'm cemented in place because of the obligations at home.

On top of financial struggles (thanks NYS for raising my taxes another $1,000) and other miscellaneous b.s., I feel emotionally burnt out. I just drove around crying last night and nothing I thought of seemed like a way out. Usually I'm so resourceful and together but lately the smallest things are making me fall apart.

Thank you everyone for the supportChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

everyone has bad days, if the sadness lingers than you start to consider it a possibility. One year PP is not unheard of, but dont forget, poeple get depressed when they arent having / had babies. Dont put too much pressure on yourself. It is good though that you are letting others know how you feel. Sometimes we forget that we have to take care of ourselves too.Chat Icon

Hi Sharon,
I just saw this post and wanted to send you some much needed HUGS! You know you always have the amazing support of all of us here on LIF, and personally speaking - I think you are a wonderful person who is just in a slump right now - nothing of your own doing either! I think as women we feel the need take on as many responsibilities as we can - and it's only natural to feel underappreciated and burntout after a while! I'm sorry to hear about your troubles at work - I'm in the same boat and I think I know exactly how you feel about being overlooked and working backwards! I think you are an awesome person and just in need of some pampering and relaxation!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon You've always been there for me in the past with my many rants and bouts of the blues, so PLEASE - if there is anything I can do, even if it's just to hear a funny puppy Golem story - just FM me anytime! Re: Is it possible to have PP a full year after you've given birth?

I just went through this about a month ago. I was at a very low point, and I actually went to talk to someone. She said it did not sound like PP, just a low period. It $ucked...but luckily everyone around me was very supportive. I've been feeling alot better.

What kind of feelings are you having? Feel free to FM me if you want. I hope you feel better!!!Chat Icon
