Re: Is it possible to lose inches ,and not lbs?

Yes, have you been extra active too?

When you workout, you build muscle and muscle weighs more than fat but you can loose inches and be toned.
EX:
So my body who dosent work out could be in a 7/8
where someone my height/weight who works out could be in a 3/4.

so that means I need to start working out! Chat Icon

Definitely!

Muscle does NOT weigh more than fat. Muscle, however, is denser than fat, meaning 1 lb of muscle takes up less space than 1 lb of fat therefore making you trimmer and more toned.

absolutely!!

muscle weighs more than fat so muscle adds pounds to the scale (or keeps the scale from moving) BUT it takes up less room in the body so you'll lose inches
