is it possible to ovulate really late in the cycle?

this month was the first time i temped all month and my temp isnt changing much and im on CD 27.
i'm wondering if maybe im not ovulating. i did have a yeast infection (sorry for TMI) for a few days last week but i didnt think that would affect it.

what do you ladies think?

Re: is it possible to ovulate really late in the cycle?

It is definitely possible to ovulate late in your cycle. Check out the FF charts and look up long cycles and pregnancy. You'll see tons on charts where woman Oed in CD30s, 40s, 50, even 60s and got pregnant.

If it's just this one cycle, I wouldn't be worried about it. If it happens on a regular basis I would talk to your doctor and let them know.

Hope that helps!

Yes it is def possible...and if it keeps happening I would def call the dr. I had a similar situation and had cycles ranging from 40 to 60 days. I went to an RE and now with meds my cycles have been 28 days!

It's definitely possible!
I had no idea either-I O'ed somewhere between CD 18-20.

I think the YI could definitely affect temperature.

Yes, it is possible. If you recently came off BC, it can take a few months for your cycle to regulate. If you've been off for a few months, then I'd give the doc a call. After many months of TTC with 40/42 day cycles I found out I wasn't Oing.

Good luck!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am having the same issue this month. I haven't had a temp rise or any other signs of ovulation. It's CD 24 and I am worried that I'm not going to ovulate this month. Glad to hear it's still a possibility. Chat Icon

I went of BC in December adn since then my cycles have been anywhere from 28-36 days so pretty normal. I just completed my first full month of temping and charting and it says I O'd on CD 25...got AF today on CD 31. I guess I will see what happens next month and if I am always going to O late in the cycle.
