Is it possible to ovulate this late?
I have had very long and irregular cycles since having DS. Before DS they where always long cycles. I concieved DS on day 18 of my cycle the month I got PG.
We have not been careful this month at all, and are just seeing what happens. I have no idea what day I would of ovulated. I had such a crazy cycle last month. I had AF twice in a month. Once on Aug 13th for 7 days and another time on Aug 22nd for 7 days. I went to the doctor for blood work to check hormonal levels and other things. All where normal. They think I may of had a anovulatory cycle that month. I also have been spotting many days before getting AF. I had a sonogram, which the docotor said looked normal. I had no spotting so far this months. I had AF type cramps and sore boobs about 2 weeks ago. I swore I was PG since that is what happen with my DS. I got a BFN. Last Tuesday I had such a bad pain on by my left ovary. It last about 2 days. Do you think it is possible to ovulate this far into the month. Tuesday would of put me at either day 38 or day 29. This is just a guess, since I might of not even ovulated last month. I took another PG test on Saturday morning and got another BFN. So confusing!!

Re: Longest cycle ever!!!! What is going on???
i have PCOS so ive had 90 day cycles that were only ended with provera.. i wouldnt consider a 40-day the longest cycle ever
if you had pains in your left ovary last week maybe you just ovulated late. did you have EWCM at the time of the pains??
good luck!!

Yeah, I guess it is not the longest cycle ever. I actually changed my post title. The longest cycle I ever had was about 45 days. I had EWCM on tuesday, at least it looked like it, but I have had alot of CM this month. (Sorry TMI) I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens.

Re: Is it possible to ovulate this late?
It's definitely possible. I found out after the fact that we conceived on CD 47 the month I got pregnant.
My cycles were all over the place -- sometimes 34 days, sometimes 59 days. I guess that was a 59-day-cycle month. I got my BFP on CD62. I don't know if I could've gotten it sooner since I didn't test until then.
As long as you're not having anovulatory cycles, you can still get PG if there aren't other issues.
