Is it safe to use household cleaning products?
I haven't been to the dr. yet to ask her, so I'm wondering if you ladies can tell me if you still use household cleaning products, like Lysol wipes/windex/bleach/ajax... I'm thinking it's probably best not to breath stuff like that in, but I'm not sure.

Re: Is it safe to use household cleaning products?
I wore a face mask when doing any cleaning, but then I found BabyGanics household cleaners. You can buy it at BRU, they are usually buy one get one free. I LOVE their products! I use their glass and surface cleaner, Tile and Tub cleaner (which to be honest Im not a huge fan of and still use my old stuff with a mask), Disinfectant wipes and their spray Air Freshener. Their products are all non toxic, all natural and can be used when baby is around too!

Try 7th generation or Mrs Meyers. It smells much better.

Re: Is it safe to use household cleaning products?
Ever since I was pregnant with my DD 4 yrs ago, I've done a ton of research on this. I have switched 100% to chemical free cleaning products - safer for everyone - your pregnant self, your baby, your toddler, etc.
I use: 7th Generation Mrs. Meyers Ecover Shaklee

Re: Is it safe to use household cleaning products?
I've been using my normal cleaners.
I didn't even consider not using them.

Re: Is it safe to use household cleaning products?
I used all my everyday cleaning products when I was pregnant with DD and am doing the same thing this time around.
ETA - I helped paint DD's room when I was about 8 months pregnant - just made sure the windows were open
The only thing I will not touch is our dogs flea and tick application that has to be done once a month. I make DH do that!

I use Shaklee and Seventh generation for the reason listed above (but also because it's better for the environment and less wasteful).

This........when I was pregnant. I actually painted too when I was 3 months pregnant. (with a mask and windows open) DD was born happy and healthy.
