is it too late?
to book a trip for a week in February ?? A family friend in the travel industry was supposed to be helping us out ,but he's been traveling!! hehe :) I really jsut want to book something soon, but I don't want to keep bugging him since he said he's "working on it" and he's doing us a favor and probably going to save us money if anything ever gets booked. It's just that we really want to to go away because this could be the last big vacation before we have kids. If my cousin isn't able to get us any deals, I just want to book something myself. But is it too late????

Not at all!! I work in the hotel business and a lot of our leisure business is booked within 21 days. You have plenty of time!

Re: is it too late?
If you are looking to go to Florida, I would book soon. We had issues finding a hotel for Florida in February, when we booked our trip last May!
eta: be prepared to spend a lot of $$$$$. it is the most expensive time of year to go to Florida.

Re: is it too late?
We looked this past week into going away for Feb break but decided against it because the prices for airfare were astronomical!

If you are looking to go Presidents Week, start looking!! That books up so quick and it is expensive. If you are not going that week I would still start looking and maybe send that person an email that you are interested in something and maybe if you give him an idea he could work on it faster.
