doesnt really fit comfortably in his snugride with his fleece on. He's only 16 lbs and 26''. I think the limit is 30lbs and 36''. I wish I had caught that target thing for the britax.

Re: is my baby the only one that
No same here. My son (5 mos) at his last doc visit was 17lbs and 27 inches long. He was squashed in there with the bundle me and then I read it was dangerous so I took that out and bought a fleece bunting. With the fleece bunting, he also looked very uncomfortable. So for now I leave him in his regular clothes, put a blanket tightly around him and then cover the whole seat with another blanket to take him to the car. Once i make a decision on which convertible car seat to buy we will be making the switch. My first son didn't go to a convertible car seat until he was 9 mos old!! Crazy that his 5 month old brother is already to big for his infant seat.

my DS is exactly the same size and he fits fine with his clothes (usually 2 layers) and the bundle me. are you sure the straps are in correctly in the top slot and are as loose as can be?
i have a britax marathon waiting to be used, but i still love using the bucket carrier. and don't feel badly, most people who ordered the target britax didn't actually get it.

Re: is my baby the only one that
That is probably b.c he is getting close to the limits of the seat (you have the snugride not the safeseat right?) the snugride goes to UP to 29 inches and 22 lbs (the safeseat has the higher weight and length limits)- DD hit the length way before the weight (she is only about 22 or 23 lbs now at 17 months) I found that when she got about 27 inches it started to get harder and harder to close her straps and that was without the bundle me. I would try some blankets instead and maybe warmer clothes?
