More like 2 hours from Philadelphia. To DC it takes 4-5 hours...

It is more than 2 hours - not sure exactly - but I think it was alot more than that when we went 2 weeks ago

I would say more like 4 hours. 5 if you hit a lot of traffic, which is possible.

I went to college in DC and it's a 4 hour drive with minimal traffic. During high peak times, it can take 5 hours.

I recommend taking the bridge that takes you right into NJ (I think it's the Verrazano Bridge)... It cuts out some time.

The verrazano connects LI to Staten Island - then you have to take the goethals or the outerbride from SI to NJ....


my sister lives in Richmond, VA, and it takes 5.5-6 to get there from the nassa/suffolk border - id say 4 for DC

It used to take me 4 hours when I loved in Woodbury and that was without traffic (I used to leave either super early or after 10am.)

I drive STUPID fast on longer trips & at 1 am it took me 4 hours to get to DC from Floral Park.
