is she sick- teething- or both?
OK my internet has been down for a few days - what timing, I needed you guys!
So the dr. told me last week that the baby is teething...well all weekend she had been "off" and yesterday was the worst....if she wasn't sleeping - she was crying...and not a little cry - -that painful cry - the kind when they get their shots...it's heartbreaking.
I had her on tylenol...she was still running a small fever. I gave her orajel - let her chew on frozen washclothes (this was the only thing she liked)
She had 7 bowl movements yesterday (that is a lot for her!!) She is stuffy too.
How do I tell if she is sick...or just teething...or both? BTDT moms - how bad is teething? Her cries seemed excessive yesterday - but what do I know?!
Today she seems better so far...but I am curious to hear what you think!

I don't know for sure having not gone thru it yet, but with the increase in poop and all, maybe she's got a little stomach bug? I hope she feels better!!!

Did you figure out what it was? Kevin had a cold last week - at first I thought it was teething (he has been teething since 3.5 months and now almost 10 mos and still no teeth).
It started with a day where we had 8 poops - last 2 were liquid but he seemed fine just a little cranky. I chalked it up to teething or an upset tummy (he had yogurt that day and sometimes yogurt makes him this way). next day a little mroe cranky esp in the evening//night. Third day - runny nose (clear) and cranky. Still thought maybe teething..but by the third night - it was an all out cold. He had it for about 8-10 days! Poor little guy's nose was like a faucet - always running.
