I have two and the underside of the hoods are so dirty from the wheels laying on it while closed. I can't figure out how to get it off.

I think it's a major design flaw...lol. There's no way to protect it from the wheels!!

I googled. I have the triumph..not sure which you have or if it's the same:

With the stroller open, unlock the hinges on the side of the hood. Pull the hood closed.
Make sure the rear apron is clear of hinges and retainers.
Place your hands on either side of the hood and pull gently on the pivot blocks located on the handle tubes

Lots of moms said they then scrubbed with dish or laundry detergent and rinsed in the shower or with a hose and let air-dry. I'm going to try this!!

What I do to keep mine clean is I keep it in my trunk with a towel under it. When I place the stroller in, I lift the towel on the end only and cover the wheels, to prevent the wheels from touching the hood. Kept it clean so far, 2.5 years later.

I've been meaning to clean my Quest. I plan to use the upholstery brush on my Hoover Steam Vac (what I use to shampoo the carpets) and then let it dry outside in the sun. I figure, if it can clean couches and stuff, it can clean the stroller too.

I'm bumping this because i cleaned the canopy last night. it's so easy to remove. You just pull up on the black peices that are holding the canopy to the support frame on the sides. They slide right off!

Then I put it in my sink and went at it with the scrubby side of a sponge and some dish detergent....looks brand new!
I'm planning on just keeping a small towel or something to stop the wheels from touching the canopy again.

Thanks for the tip. I have to try this. I hate using it because it looks so nasty.
