Is the baby moving too much?

Katie is really active - her legs and arms are always going. Is there such a thing as too much movement? Even when I feed her her little arms and legs are usually moving all over.

My DH keeps getting all these "helpful hints" from the girls at his office and now he thinks she moves too much and should be sitting there like a little lump more. (?????) I dont know...

She's been lifiting her head since she was 2 wks old and started smiling the same time...and she's just always moving. Is that OK?

Jenna was always an active infant (and now toddler!)-she was also very active in my womb and didn't you say Katie was the same too? Forget your hubby's "helpful" co-workers and just enjoy your baby!

Luka only sits still when he is asleep. He was pushing himself up from the day he was born. I dont think their is anything wrong with your baby. You happen to have an active child as opposed to a laid back baby.

Re: Is the baby moving too much?

No prob! Jenna was also a very active sleeper and would be all over the place in the crib-i'd find her upside down, turned around, etc...

It's perfectly normal. You also have to remember that the poor thing was cooped up in your uterus for almost 10 months so now she feels like a free woman and is letting loose! lol
