Is the Maclaren Triumph a good umbrella stroller?
The closest BBB is 2.5 hrs from me in NC. I went there last night since I had to pick up my DH from the airport near there. I had some returns and got back way more than expected. I only had 20 min in the store before I had to leave to get my DH and on impulse I bought the Maclaren Triumph. I never researched it and really have no idea if its any good! Any feedback would be appreciate! THANKS

I think the thing with that stroller is that it's only like 2 lbs less than the Quest, but it doesn't recline like the Volo, which is 8 lbs.
So, bottom line-- it depends on your needs. I was looking to exchange my Quest-- after asking at antoher baby store, I decided to keep it, since the Triumph wasn't much lighter, and the Quest had more features-- AND the Volo, was just light. I decided to get a cheapo light umbrella stroller for subway trips, etc.
I think it's a good stroller and people like it--it just dpeends what you want out of it!

It reclines into 4 positions (not sure how far back though)

I *think* it doesn't recline.. I am not 100% sure since I can't really remember stuff so well these days.
Either way, the woman talked me into keeping the Quest for some reason or another, and I was concerend with weight-- and features.

Never thought about what I'd be using it for I guess just for quick trips, traveling, etc
I have the Graco Metrolite as my main stroller but figured I needed an umbrella stroller!

Same here. I thought the recline feature was what distinguished the Quest from the Triumph. I have the Quest and love it.

The Triumph is a very good stroller. It does recline (not as deep as the Quest) but enough to nap. I don't think you will be dissapointed.
