Is the NT scan part of the Ultrascreen?
I was just curious as to why I never had this test. If it's part of the ultrascreen I understand though- because we are going straight to an amnio, so my Dr said there was no need for the Ultrascreen... since the amnio would give us definitive answers and everythign that the Ultrascreen gives percentages on...

yes the amnio gives you the definitive results - the NT would tell you if you need to get the amnio

Exactly. (From babycenter.com) NT = nuchal translucency. The test measures the clear (translucent) space in the tissue at the back of your developing baby's neck. Babies with abnormalities tend to accumulate more fluid at the back of their neck during the first trimester, causing this clear space to be larger than average.
If you're having an amnio, you don't need the NT

OK thanks ladies! I was just nervous my Dr missed a test for me! I feel like I haven't been getting all these tests and scans that everyone else has...but the fact that I am having an amnio explains why.
