Is there a local fundraiser for baby Easton in the works?
I am sooo saddened by his story and the struggle he and his family are faced with. I wanted to see if anyone is organizing a local fundraiser for him. I would love to help in any way that I can. If no one is, I would definitely love to start planning one and anyone that would like to help, please get in touch. I feel so compelled to help and I feel like we can all come together and make a big difference.
On another note... I have been posting the donation page on different media FB pages... Ellen, Kathie Lee & Hoda, Etc... I think that if we all could bombard them with the same request for help we can start to get the cause some media attention.

I haven't seen that! Thanks for posting.
A lot of people have set up fundraisers for products like scentsy, avon, etc, travel, custom items, etc, so you can buy things you'd ordinarily buy and make a donation. There's also an auction in the works.

Re: Is there a local fundraiser for baby Easton in the works?
That is great that there is a local event. $100 pp is a great donation although some people might not be able to afford it. I really want to plan a different type of event which would allow others that cant attend that event to still get involved. One that would be less pp and then give people the option to donate more if they want by enter raffles, 50/50, silent auction. Do you guys think people would go to that one even though they are doing another one? I figure having more than one cannot be a bad thing. I already have a place lined up, I would just need to get the date settled and I would like approval from the family. Everyone's thoughts on this would be appreciated.

This is all the info I know right now. 2 1/2hours of bowling, 50/50 & Chinese auction. As soon as I hear more I will let everyone know. The person organizing it said more details in the next few days so hopefully I'll know soon.

Is there a local fundraiser for baby Easton in the works?
I cannot get Baby Easton and his family out of my mind. I'm so happy to see all the people pitching in to help raise money.
Besides attending the event at Manor East, I would love to donate a child mural valued at $500 (that's the average price of a mural for a nursery or child's room, depending on the extent of it). How do you think it could raise the most money? By selling tickets at $10, or $20, each, for example??? I'd love to know your thoughts, so I know how to present this idea to them.
Thanks,
Debbie Viola
