Is there a place to store luggage in Penn station while we walk around the city?
My niece is coming to NYC by train, so I thought i would meet her and we would walk around to see some sites. But..she will have her luggage? Anyting we can do with it to keep it safe?

I'm not the best person to answer this becuase I'm rally not super famillair with the city BUT I remember a few years ago a friend had the same situation and I'm pretty sure the answer was no. I think they used to have storage there many many years ago but it's long since gone from what she was told. Hopefully someone else might know more or have a suggestion. Good luck!

Do you have a friend with an apartment or an office in the city? I often "store" luggage for family visitors in my office so they can walk around the city and just pick up their suitcase from my office later in the day.

no place to store luggage in Penn, I'd do what a PP suggested and ask a friend who lives in the city.

Try this place: Schwartz Travel and also check with Amtrak. They apparently have inexpensive luggage storage tho you may need to be holding an Amtrak ticket. Aside from that, there's no public luggage storage at Penn.

If Penn doesn't do storage, can you check/call around for a hotel and see if they will do it for you for a fee? There is a hotel right across the street from Penn on 7th.

This might be a good idea, one of tho hotels right there is the Athena, I think another one right there is the hotel pensylvania.
