Is there a reason I can't lose a POUND????????
I am doing a mix of Bikram and cardio and I swear to god, everytime I get on the scale i'm a lb heavier...I dont understand...
I'm eating fish, salad or chicken for every meal. I'm not eating carbs after 2P. I'm drinking approx 4-6 16 oz bottles of Poland Spring thruout the day... I have a glass of Crystal light with dinner and an iced coffee in the am with a banana.
W T F ?
Its just getting frustrating because I feel like I'm doing everything possible and I nearly lost it this AM when I got on the scale and I was 2 lbs heavier...

Have you tried calorie counting? Maybe you aren't taking in enough food. Your body may be in starvation mode if you aren't eating enough. You need calories to burn calories.

How much weight do you have to lose? The less you have to lose, the harder it is to lose it. Also, how long have you been dieting/exercising? Maybe you haven't given it enough time and just need to stick with it a little longer. And how often do you weigh yourself? Everyone's weight fluctuates so if you're weighing yourself every day you'll notice the ups and downs. I'd weight myself once a week on the same day and time.

I am starting a food journal now!
And yes, I weigh myself every morning before I get in the shower.
I have 10 lbs to lose, not a ton of weight, but I am the heaviest I've ever been in my life. I am sure no one would look at me and call me fat, but for me, I'm fat.
I've always been exercising...I went on a hiatus during the holidays, haha, but since New Years, i've been exercising consistently. I've been REALLY buckled down in terms of diet & exercise for the last few weeks...I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding 4/9 and I vowed I would be back to my goal weight by then...but with not being able to lose a single pound, its kinda making that difficult.

I was thinking the same. I definitely don't think you're eating enough.
I agree...you didn't write what else you're eating after 2pm (i know its no carbs) but if you write out your day here, i'll take a look..
It seems you may not be eating enough...which is so important!

I agree. I have to have one "bad" day a week (have been basically doing one bad "meal") to lose weight. I need that boost in my metabolism.

if you figure it out let e know because I am in the same boat! Hang in there...give it time. I dontthink you need to cut carbs out after 2pm personally...that makes me think you are being too restrictive which will NOT help! (says the woman with a slug for a metabolism...)

Remember you have to burn an extra 500calories/day and a total of 3500calories/week to lose 1 pound. Do you have a HR monitor? A lot of people over estimate how much they are burning when then exercise. I know it has helped me.

I'm in thevsame boat. 10 pounds to lose and I can't understand....three weeks, strict diet, three days a week cardio, and no weight loss.

i want to lose about 30lbs just to like the number on the scale....12 weeks of bootcamp and i have put on 3lbs then lost 1lb this last weigh in BUT my measurements have gone down a total of 6.75 inches! its not always about the numbers on the scale!

Ok here is yesterdays--mind you I have like the worst schedule EVER to be able to eat more:
Iced Coffee Banana Salad, mixed greens with cucumbers, grape tomatoes, avocado, grilled chix, fat free rasp vinegarette Diet Snapple
Went to Bikram, got home at 9 and had: 2 little cubes of parmesan reggiano (i love cheese!) 1 leftover veal rollatine from V day--it was rolled with spinach, garlic, prosciutto and mushrooms 1 small potato croquette (CHEAT)
And then went to the airport to pick up my friend which was followed by 2 glasses of cabernet...oops
Throughout the day, I had 4 bottles of Poland Spring (16 oz) and then one LARGE smart water.

For the most part, it looks like you only had lunch and dinner. What about breakfast? It doesn't look like nearly enough food.

A banana is not breakfast. A banana is a snack. Breakfast is a meal like lunch or dinner......whole grains, protein, fiber. Maybe try having some oatmeal or yogurt with your banana if you're crunched for time.
