Hartz sells a yard spray that kills ticks and fleas. I bought it in Walmart by the flea treatment section. It's a blue bottle that attaches to the hose. Good Luck

I have been told sprays do not work for ticks but they cannot reach the heart of where ticks breed (in mice nests, often underground). Or under piles of debris, etc.
I bought a product that supposedly works great for ticks and is safe around kids and pets. It's called Damminix. It gets to the heart of where ticks breed....it's a very unique product that 2 landscapers i met swore by.

I would think it would. How do you know they are dog tick? Either way, I am sure you can call the company or email them to ask.

My vet also told me to use the flea and tick medicine every 3 weeks instead of every 4 weeks because the tick season is going to be horrible

I now know what every tick looks like..lol! I googled ticks and I have pulled off my pup female and male dog ticks. They look different than deer ticks and deer ticks are also a lot smaller than dog ticks. That's a good idea to call the company I'll try that! Thanks for this info..it's gonna be a long summer fall w/ these damn ticks!
