Is there a temporary treatment for curly hair that DOESN'T make it straight but just less kinky and more wavy?

Is there a temporary treatment for curly hair that DOESN'T make it straight but just less kinky and more wavy?

People are always talking about Brazilian and Japanese straightening but I am looking for just a little bit of relaxing rather making it pin straight. I would also want to make sure that the treatment is temporary.

TIA!

I have fine, very curly hair and it did NOT make it wavy, it took almost all the curls out. I think whether or not this will work totally depends on your hair type. I am still growing it out Chat Icon

I get my hair "relaxed" at maximus in merrick. It is still curly buit not frizzy - just loosens the curl. You are supposed to do it every 3 months but I do it more like every 6 months. She leaves it in for @ 15-20 minutes or so.

ETA: The stuff that I use are chemicals, not keratin but without it I have very thick, tight, frizzy, huge hair so for me it changed my life, LOL. I have been doing it for over 13 years now. FM if you have questions!

I have very fine, very curly hair and got the rejuvenol keratin treatment and it is still curly. It did take the frizz out (although I think I still have some) but hair still curls very easily and did right from the beginning.

it really depends on hair type, copola only made my curls flat, kind of wavy, but I have middle eastern curly hair

As for "growing it out" really? Have you tried to treat it with a sodium rich cleanser?
Or try this trick, a dollop of shampoo a teaspoon of salt, add just enough water to mix, later, let soak, then rinse 10 min later.

Or just basically soak in the ocean for a few hours, that will take it all out. It took one day of this, 1 week after keratin treatment and it was all out!
