Is there any rhyme or reason to finding a Wii?
Does anyone know if they arrive at stores on a regular basis? Or is it completely random?

I think Wii's are getting easier to find. Wii fit on the other hand....much more difficult. I've been trying to find a Wii fit since it came out.

See, that's the thing... I may be able to get a Wii Fit... which, in turn, requires a Wii to be functional

I just got one for DH for Father's day. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to it still. I asked in a bunch of stores and they said they never know when they'll be getting them, except if they are advertised in their sunday circular. Then, they recommend you get to the store super early on the sunday because the amount of stock they get in varies greatly.
I wound up setting up alerts on a bunch of websites to let me know when they had it in stock online (toys r us, circuit city, etc). I got it a couple of days later from toysrus.com - looks like they have them in stock now as well.

There are Gamestops EVERYWHERE these days.. call the ones close to you, I bet one has it!! Good Luck!!

I gave up and ordered it online from gamestop. I ordered around June 20, and they said it would be shipped around June 27th...I received it actually around June 22nd.
However...I cannot find Wii Fit anywhere and I cannot order online at gamestop or Toys R Us. It seems that is available on Amazon, but it is so much more $$$ than at Toys R Us

My sister just got one on Sunday, form Toys R Us. She called them last week and asked when they expect their delivery and they told her they will have them on SUnday, so she woke up and got there before it opened and she got it. They gave her a # and told her she had to be back before a certain time to guarantee she would get it. Hope that helps.

We got one at Gamestop last week. A few days before that we went to Best Buy and inquired. The salesman laughed at us. Oh well our $$ went to Gamestop!

The TRU where I live here in CT have them. We were there sunday and they had a sign at the door that they have it.

I got dh one from game crazy which is part of Hollywood video. They told me they have them all the time.

or you can sign up at www.wiialerts.com and they will alert you by text or email when they are in stock. That is how I got my Wii Fit.

At least 50% of the time, I've seen several Wiis on the shelf at the Commack Target whenever I stop in. They are definitely much easier to get now.

ITA! This is where we got ours.
However, when I asked the sales person that works there about a Wii Fit, He was like "Yeah right".
