Is there any such thing as a magnet board?

Sorta like a bulletin board, but made of metal so that magnets will stick to it?

I collect magnets (Chat Icon) from every place I visit-- and always kept them on the fridge. Now that we are getting stainless, I feel like I can't keep my ever-growing magnet collection on the new one-- even though I do currently keep them on the side-- so only I can see them when I am in the kitchen.

I thought they might look cute/quirky if I had something else to put them on and hung them in our office or something--

Ikea also has some. Here's one they have on their website, but I remember seeing others at the store.

Hey don't Chat Icon over collecting magnets -- I do too!!!!

I wonder if they sell magnetic paint -- the way they sell chalkboard paint --- that would be cool. I think I may have seen it on TLC once.

thanks girls!

It's funny-- we used to have the Ikea one- we used as a chalk board in our old place...

Me likey the Pottery Barn one-- exactly what I had in mind! I think it would look cool on the wall-- a little self-made art..

My friend's dad used to collect magnets and they got so crazy that they got ahold of some old retro fridge doors and mounted them on the wall with all the magnets - it looked cool.

DH and I do the same thing, and in our new house the applicances are all stainless steel and magnets don't stick to them... we've been looking for a magnet board as well.

They sell magnetic paint and you can actually draw out a chalkboard on your wall and decorate or even frame it with molding to show off yoru magnets. I also think to show a collection maybe painting small squares with magnetic paint so it's almost like a faux curio cabinet would look cute
