Is there anyone out there
that isn't finding out the sex of their baby?
DH and I made a decision a long time ago that we would not find out the sex.

DH and I didnt want to find out the sex of our baby, and it was the best decision we made because it was sooooo exciting for us and everyone else in our familys to guess what is was....so when it was time for me to give birth everyone was going nuts and sooo excited to find out what I had, and it was a GIRL!!! We were so happy! When we get pregnant with #2 we arent going to find out the sex.

We are still debating. Before I got pregnant, I thought I would want to know, so I could plan, and buy all blue or pink. Now that I am, and looking at all the stuff we need to buy, I'm thinking I want to buy it all neutral, so I could reuse it in the future......so then what would be the point of finding out! I still have a ways to go before we need to decide, so we will see.

We aren't finding out the sex either - im 31 weeks - the suspense is hard - but its nice to know that it will not only be a surprise for us but also for our family and friends. I love hearing everyone's guesses though....

I think it is funny - that when we told everyone that we were pregnant (we waited a while to tell everyone) MOST of them were like - do you know what it is? Or there first question was 'are you finding out'.  - NO!
I can't believe how many people asked!!

Plus, I think it's going to be so special for DH to announce to everyone what it is!

We aren't finding out this time either. The moment when Sarah was born and the doctor said "It's a girl!" was the most amazing moment of DH and my life. I know it would have been special anyway, but to us it made it that much more special. Plus then DH got to proudly tell everyone that we had a beautiful daughter. It was great!

Me too! When people ask me if I know and I tell them that we want to be surprised I get the "you are crazy" look from them and they have to ask why? and then a million questions following like "what about decorating the nursery?, what about your registry? Don't you want the baby to come home in a cute boy or girl outfit? how do your parents feel about this?"
Why are people so surprised and annoyed that we dont want to know!? I do have to admit, there are times I'd love to know, but it quickly goes away!

I have to give you all credit for not finding out. I know I could have held out but my husband is one of those who absolutely had to know and would have driven me nuts if he didn't.
Just tell everyone to shut up LOL. You get a comment if you find out and you get one if you don't. People are so rude when you're pregnant!

We're not. Its our 3rd child and everyone thinks we should find out since we have 2 already. But we're waiting. I loved finding out at the moment of birth.

DH and I are not going to find out the sex until the big day- although I am somewhat conflicted- some days I want to know the sex, other days I want to be surprised!
