is there such a thig as a pediatric orthopetic dr?
dd second toes are crooked and are going over tehother toes. My ped said its cosmetic but i want a 2nd opinion. any recs?
i am in eastern queens so anywhere in eastern queens or western nassau is good for me.

Yes...I took DS to one at 2 mo. b/c they were concerned he had hip dyspasia. I will see if I can dig up his name and number.

I'm so glad you asked about this - my DD has the same exact thing on her left foot. I fear she will never wear sandals or run correctly in sneakers!

well she walks great run walks and run backwards etc. i do belive its cosmetic BUT i want to be sure.

No, no, I was just kidding. My DD walks and runs no problem - I just picture her in high school embarrased about her snaggly toe and blaming lack of athleticism on it instead of the genes she inherited from her mother

haha. we were joking last night she'll have to wear old lady shoes and she'llbe goign to the prom all dressed up with special shoes on and no heels.
If this is the worst thing my kids have wrong with them illbehappy but its still bothering me until i get a 2nd opinion.
