Is there such a thing as a fabulous, boob-hoisting nursing bra?
I need one that doesn't allow the girls to sag. Is this possible? Does Blums have nursing bras? I'll be in Patchogue later. Guess DS is going bra shopping with me. Any suggestions for bras and where to go? I don't even know what size I am anymore. TIA!!!

i do believe blums sells nursing bras, my sil was just there this past week, but they are $$$ just be prepared to pay 60 bucks for a bra and she said the girl that helped her was so rude.
I bought mine at motherhood, 16 bucks..

i went to georette's in hicksville. they were very helpful with measuring me and finding the right size. they have a large range of sizes.
i also went to upper breast side in manhatten. very good also, but not necessary to trek into the city, if you are out in suffolk.
eta: btw, unfortunately nursing bras are not fabulous. i can't even find any other colors in my size besides white!!

Try JCPenney. I got a few that were underwire with lining and they did a good job of "hoisting". They still do now too. I believe the brand was Leading Lady. Also, I got a few at BBB by Medela which were pretty good also. I just made sure to get ones that had underwires -- they were much better.
ETA: I also had a few front close regular bras that did the trick as well.

i thought that it wasn't recommended to use underwire bras while nursing, because the wire can press into a duct and cause a clogged duct. i don't know where i heard that, but it always stood out in my head.
