Is there such thing as intermittent daycare?
I am a SAHM. Are there any good daycares that I could leave DD at once a week, or even just whenever I need to do something but don't have a babysitter? Like a daycare that I can call the day before and then drop off DD whenever I may need to do a few things?

Where I live they have drop in daycare. But I don't live in NY

ds goes to a daycare 1 day a week bc i work that day.
They charge me 75 a day. I interviewd a few places and most places (including tutor time) said they would work with me - of course they charge u a bit more for one day a week but all you have to do is ask.
eta: if i have to work an extra day during the week, i just tell them ahead and pay for that day at the end of the month.
