Is this a good price for A/C Wall Installation
We have to replace the wall unit a/c that's in our bedroom- the stupid owner before us put a window unit in the wall sleeve and now there is a bird's nest in there and we are getting water damage
The guy that came to look at it wants to charge us $750- this includes a 10,000 btu a/c, a new sleeve and installation? I dont get what installation includes when the hole is already there?

That seems a little high..
WE bought an AC unit from PC Richards for under $200. Installation was $89 and we DIDNT have a hole in the wall. The AC was 8000 BC

Very high. Just got a 15,000 BTU from PC richards plus they are installing it in the wall ( no previous hole ) for under $500.
