is this a good sign?
I interviewed for a full time, temporary federal job last Thursday. The interview went well, I had some things in common with the interviewers and I have lots of experience that pertains to the job.
Yesterday, the HR manager (who I did not meet, I met with the people I would be directly working for) emailed me to verify my dates of employment at my last two jobs because as she put it "HR in DC needs the exact dates to approve your salary if you are offered this position."
I emailed my dates right back to her but have not heard anything since, except a thank you email.
Good sign that they asked for that, right?

sounds like a great sign! I dont think they would want to waste their time verifying peoples info if they arent interested in them
