Is this a reasonable price for swim lessons?
DS is 16 weeks so we're going to do a baby and me swim class at Saf-T-Swim. It's $87 for 6 thirty minute classes. Does this sound like a fair deal? I can't find swim classes anywhere else except at the Y and there's an additional membership fee.
TIA!
If anyone has any other places they can recommend in the Huntington area I'm open to suggestions.

Re: Is this a reasonable price for swim lessons?
not a bad price actually. I plan on doing them through my school district. Our HS has a pool and they offering mommy & me swim classes during the year for low prices.
I think Huntington HS does have a pool so they may offer this. Worth looking into

Re: Is this a reasonable price for swim lessons?
Are you in the town of Huntington? Any chance you live in East Northport/Northport? I heard the VA offers swimming lessons but it's first come first serve basis. My sister used this for my daughter.
Saf T Swim is a fortune. You have to get the right instructor otherwise it's a waste. We went through a few instructors before my dd's started to finally get it. Also, it's cheaper to sign up for more sessions - you get more for your money. HTH

I was so annoyed I missed that deal! An employee left me a message about it but didn't mention that it was a promotion that was good for only April. Anyway, I think we may start next week also.
